Capacity & Safety Guidelines
Q. Why are there restrictions on infants riding?
Physical balance and safety on Kyoto’s unique slopes are our top priorities. Our safety standard allows one infant (under 6) per adult to ride on their lap. For safety reasons, any additional infants require their own dedicated seat (treated as a child fare).
Q. Can you accommodate large luggage or strollers?
Yes, the rear of the rickshaw features a dedicated storage space capable of securely holding large suitcases and foldable strollers, ensuring a comfortable ride without compromising your seating area.
